So Freakin' Excited!

I'm going to see The Hunger Games Movie today. I've been excited about this since I saw the first trailer last year. I am so pumped that I pretty much can't think about anything else...so...

I decided to take a poll:

~ How many of you have seen it already?
~ How many plan to see it this first weekend?
~ If so, did you love it so much you wanted to take it home with you? Why or why not?
~ If you're not seeing it this weekend, why not? Have you sworn off cool things? Didn't like the book? *gasp* Have better plans? Do tell.

Have a fantastic weekend everyone!

  3. I'm seeing it tonight with a friend after she gets off of work. I am so excited - and I am really glad to not be seeing it at midnight. (At first I was disappointed, now I revel in the fact I got sleep - LOL!)
I hope it lives up to everything I am looking forward to - crazy violence, Katniss/Peeta, Peeta, did I mention Peeta... hehe
I can't believe I read the book 4 years ago. I can't believe they made it into a movie *that fast* - I can't believe people haven't read it yet!! lol

  5. I saw the movie at midnight and I plan to see it again on Saturday. I did love it and when it comes out on Blu-Ray and DVD, I'll probably buy both. =)

    Enjoy it...

  6. I go to see it tomorrow afternoon. I'm pretty stoked, I won't lie. Well, if you want me to lie, I'll lie. *ahem* I have no interest in seeing that movie. Seriously? I mean, kids fighting in a battle to the death? Isn't that just a high school lunchtime when the tater-tots have almost run out? Because I'm pretty sure I've seen some football players get nasty over their tots. Just sayin'.
    *end lie*

  7. Saw the movie last night, and it was amazing! I loved every minute. The girl they chose to play Katniss is such a great actress, and she really brought the character to life on-screen. I'm going again this weekend!

  9. Saw it at 12:30 am, and again at 7:15 pm. Yes, I want to take it home with me. And yes, I loved it. But I am sad about some of the details they had to leave out. And *gah* I hope they hurry and make Catching Fire!

  11. I caught the movie today. No, I don't want to take it home with me. I didn't love the movie, but I was impressed with the qualit of story craft that it contained.
