So, first, I will show you said kitten, so you will understand importance of/cuteness involved in my task:

| Zeus - God of the Sky...duh, can't you tell? |
Last night, I had a dream that all my writer friends were birds and I was shooting them at a house full of pigs.
What do you think this means? Most entertaining answer(judged by me, of course) wins a prize! :)
Have a great weekend!

SO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteOkay, as for your dream, I think you should obviously take it at face-value: Your subconscious clearly knows that your writer friends are were-birds (personally, I'll admit that I'm a were-ostrich, so.. there's 1 for ya, the rest that don't are *obviously* lying), and writers currently working on a WIP are much like werewolves under the full moon - we all go batshit crazy. So, we all shift into our were-bird selves and get understandably frantic-flappy and hungry and --- what do were-birds eat?--- PIGS. Of course. So, being the noble one of the bunch, your subconscious clearly recognizes the need to contain this issue so the rest of the world doesn't realize how batshit crazy (see above), we writers truly are, because a) it's not good for our reputation and b) it's not good for the pork industry.
So really, it all boils down to bacon. You're protecting the bacon from the crazy were-bird writers.
Easy peasy. :)
Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha...ahem.
DeleteBacon. Got it. ;-)
You're forgiven because of the pic that cute kittie. :D
ReplyDelete*phew* that was close. ;-)
DeleteAll I saw was the cat, Jenn, and I melted............ :-P
ReplyDeleteyes, he does that to you. This is why I enlisted him in my plot to take over the world.
Deletemuahahaha :)
What a cutie! And awesome fur colors too,
ReplyDeleteThanks! We adore him. :)
Deletelol Do you ever use your dreams for book ideas?
ReplyDeleteHaha... yes, but not this one. ;-)
DeleteZEUS!!!
ReplyDelete*melts with cute*
As for the dream, I think it means your dark and twisty books scare all of our books to the point that we are just helpless birds, twittering above you. Maybe. Or it means you ate something weird before you went to sleep.
I love this idea of my scary books chasing all your books around. It dovetails with my world domination plot nicely. ;-)
DeleteSo. Cute.
ReplyDeleteAs for your dream, clearly it means you are trying to take us all down. Maybe because you don't want to share your stores of bacon? Why would you do this to us Jenn?? :)
Because I am an evil, cruel woman who is unwilling to share her bacon...?
DeleteOh my gosh...that cat is bursting with cuteness! Precious!
ReplyDeletehehe, I know. It doesn't seem fair that he has so much cuteness trapped in such a small body. How will he ever manage to contain it?
DeleteUh-oh. Sara's Ezio has a rival for wicked cuteness! I simply must steal BOTH of your cats! Gwa ha ha!
ReplyDeleteAs for your dream, me thinks that you know your writerly friends are your ammunition against obstacles during this journey. When the pigs unite against you, you can rally your army and they will rise to the challenge! And when the bricks and glass and strange wood structures fall to our frenetic assault, you will stand victorious among the dust! Oo-rah!
Wow, Laura! You make me feel like I'm in some kind of feel good military boot camp movie! Oo-rah, indeed! ;-)
DeleteI can't lie that kitty is dang cute, even though cats make me break out rashes just looking at them. Jk.
ReplyDeleteI am going to take a stab at the dream symbolism: Some of your writing friends are flourishing, taking flight (like birds) and some are sort of stinky and wallowing in the mud (like pigs)...you are in a house where they are trapped (like a certain writer's conference this comin week)...and the stress of this makes you feel "postal"...??? How about I bring you some stress relieving Diet Coke and M&M's at the conference, and in return you can let me "hold" your gun for a few days?!! :).
Haha! I love that some of my friends are pigs in this scenario! I do enjoy me some stress-relief. ;-) But really I'm more excited for our group and seeing friends!
DeleteOkay, so--never before has a dream interpretation made me feel like I should salute...or used the word "frenetic"
ReplyDeleteLove.
You win, Laura! I shall bring you a present at the conference! Thanks everyone, for participating. You're all geniuses! :)
