So, today let me tell you about some cool things I've seen on the internet this week!
This post showed me the very cool Kimberly Sabatini (KimmiePoppins on twitter) discussing what she's learned from her editorial revisions.
And here you can find some seriously creeptastic Mary Poppins dolls.
This is an amazing post by C.J. Redwine on what happens when you don't sell, and what happens when you do. Anyone who ever has been or ever will be on submission should absolutely read this.
And here is a weird glasses you could buy to drink red wine...or grape juice, if you will, out of.
Seriously! How useful am I today?! It's official. I deserve a break.
Have a great weekend everyone!

You People Crack Me Up
This week I stumbled on some seriously hilarious stuff that I had to share with you. After all, it's Friday and I think going into the weekend with a good chuckle is never a bad thing.
So, up first we have A Publishing Industry Glossary that really gets into the nitty-gritty of what makes our industry tick... or tock, as the case may be.
A couple of my favorites were:
Book: a rectangular device for immortalizing the person whose name is inscribed on it. Not to be confused with "headstone."
&
Draft: A manuscript with still enough holes in it to let the wind blow through.
Haha... how appropriate.
Second, we have this hilarious post by Jen Campbell on Weird Things Customers Say in Bookshops.
One of my faves here was:

Customer: Do you bother to arrange your books at all, or are they just plonked places?
Me: They're in alphabetical order...
Customer: Oh.

Just. Awesome.
And, last but not least. We have some rather threatening letters from children when the mayor considered cutting their library's bugget...er, budget.
All I can say is that I don't want to meet these 6-year-olds in a dark alley.
That's it. What funny things have you found on the internet this week? Anything to make us all giggle? :)

There Are Places I Remember...
Today I wanted to do some cool links that I've seen in the last week or so in the blogosphere. First, stop by the Kidlit blog where awesome agent Mary Kole is describing when it is a bad idea to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth--in fiction.
Then, go by Sarah Fine's blog to get a psychologists view of the Jacqueline Howett disaster from earlier this week. It's fascinating.
The Rejectionist posted dubious first lines of Amazon reviews. I'm still laughing at some of them.
Agent Rachelle Gardner posted about why no comes quickly, but yes seems to take forever.
Finally, stop by Monica B.W.'s blog to meet new agent, Kathleen Rushall, who is cooler than cool.
Okay, that's enough to keep you all busy--chop chop! ;-) What places do you remember from the blogosphere this week?
